The Wools – https://www.facebook.com/wearethewools/

A self described slacker band consisting of George and AJ, who moved to Liverpool from the Midlands, Sam from Bradford and Dan, a true scouser. The band are all in their early 20s with influences ranging from Mac DeMarco to 60s girlbands. Debut single ‘Heard It All Before’ is instantly pleasing; a chilled out, slow-paced track with plenty of jangly guitar thrown in. The stunning, slow vocals are reminiscent of Alex Turner’s ‘Submarine’ tracks, but The Wools have their own, loveable sound. Their debut release isperfectly put together, almost 3 minutes of dreamy, relaxing guitar and vocals, a track that sounds like the work of a band who’ve been releasing music for years.

The Covasettes – https://www.facebook.com/thecovasettes/

The Covasettes are an Indie rock quartet formed in the heart of Manchester’s student town Fallowfield. They instinctively found their sound with the ‘Higher’ demo, which provides a striking combination of immense riffs and immersive melodies. Led by frontman Chris Buxton, who effortlessly produces heart wrenching yet infectious lyrics which allows them to instantly stand out from the crowd. This combined with the input of lead guitarist Matt Hewlett’s world-ending riffs, make The Covasettes a band you can count on to continuously deliver floor filling anthems. With prowess both on and off stage this is a band you don’t want to take your eyes off.

M60 – https://www.facebook.com/m60official/

Manchester based indie rock four piece combining youthful energy with rock influences from bands like Arctic Monkeys and The Smiths. Having already headlined Night & Day Cafe as well as playing venues all over Manchester, M60 have the potential to achieve big things.

Deep.Sleep – https://www.facebook.com/deep.sleepUK/

Deep.Sleep are an alternative/indie-pop band from Newcastle upon Tyne, fast gaining attention through their catchy and anthemic songs which radiate feel-good vibes and captivate audiences live. Since the release of their debut single ‘1994’, which received airplay from BBC Introducing, the band have been making even bigger waves in their local scene, playing alongside the likes of King No-One, Cassia, Judas and Mint.

Fans of Sundara Karma, Wolf Alice, Blossoms, The 1975 and The Vaccines are likely to enjoy their music and should check them out both online and live.
